1. Who We Are

AdBrief (adbrief.app) is an AI-powered marketing analysis tool operated by an individual entrepreneur based in Serbia. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at hello@adbrief.app.

2. Data We Collect

Account data

When you sign up via Google OAuth or magic link, we collect your email address and, if provided by Google, your name and profile picture.

Google Ads campaign data

You may upload CSV reports or connect your Google Ads account. This data (campaign names, ad group names, keywords, performance metrics) is stored temporarily to generate your analysis and enable AI chat. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.

Usage and analytics data

We use PostHog to collect anonymized usage events (page views, feature interactions). This helps us understand how the product is used and improve it. PostHog is self-hosted or EU-hosted — no data is sold to advertisers.

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication sessions and functional cookies for analytics (PostHog). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

3. How We Use Your Data

To provide and operate the AdBrief service
To generate AI analysis of your advertising campaigns
To send transactional emails (magic link sign-in, results)
To understand usage patterns and improve the product (analytics)
To maintain security and prevent abuse

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following trusted third parties only as needed to operate the service:

OpenRouter / AI providers — your campaign data is sent to AI models to generate analysis. Data is processed per OpenRouter's privacy policy and is not used to train models.
Resend — used to send magic link emails. Only your email address is shared.
Google OAuth — if you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile data from Google per their OAuth scope.
PostHog — anonymized usage analytics. No personally identifiable information is sent.

5. Data Retention

Your account data and analysis history are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@adbrief.app. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Data Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database with encrypted connections. We use industry-standard security practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@adbrief.app.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of AdBrief after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
